Part-Time Technical Design Intern (Los Angeles)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help with measuring incoming samples.
  • Distribute incoming work to sample room.
  • Verify all pertinent info for sample evaluation.
  • File reviewed samples and pull past reviews for comparison.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Responsible for miscellaneous sample room duties and errands, including picking up supplies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Fashion Design or related major
  • Experience measuring garments
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel required
  • Familiar with Illustrator

HOURS

  • 16-20 hours per week (1:00pm – 5:00pm, M-TH or M-F)

Merchandise Planner (Atlanta)

Description:

The Merchandise Planner is an entry-level position responsible for tracking projections, monitoring inventory levels and working with the buyers to ensure that the correct quantity and mix of product is being ordered. The Planner is responsible for communicating any inventory issues that arise to management and helping to develop action plans to appropriately resolve the issues. This position reports to the Senior Merchandise Planner with close ties to the Purchasing, Key Account and Sales teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning and forecasting of styles based on sales input, historical data and current inventory levels.
  • Monitor and review projections based on sales data.
  • Monitor the inventory profile to ensure inventory is allocated properly.
  • Perform cost and selling price analysis to ensure proper margins can be met.
  • Track phase-out items and provide data to plan markdowns
  • Perform capacity analysis to ensure the vendors support the business requirements.
  • Work with modeling tools to project sales for new products.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports for the leadership team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • BA/BS required
  • 1-3 years experience in the apparel industry or related field required
  • Strong attention to detail and superior quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build and maintain good working relationships
  • Understanding of basic financial metrics, forecasting methods and trend analysis
  • Advanced Excel & Access skills.
  • Knowledge of crystal reports or equivalent a plus

Product Specialist Supervisor (Atlanta)

Description:

The Product Specialist Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of our Customer Experience team as well as communicating and implementing new and existing policies and procedures. The Supervisor will be responsible for providing solutions to customer issues as well as providing feedback and recommendations for improvements. They will report to and work closely with the Customer Experience Manager. They will assist in planning, staffing and resolving customer issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Motivate the Product Specialists to get their tasks completed and monitors their work load while ensuring that quality standards are met
  • Provide ongoing assistance and coaching to Product Specialists
  • Give instruction and clarification on new and existing procedures and policies
  • Train and ensure that new and existing employees have the training, materials and tools needed to carry out their duties
  • Make recommendations for customer service improvements and efficiencies
  • Responsible for handling escalated customer issues
  • Monitor call volume and take appropriate actions when necessary
  • Provide feedback on Product Specialists performance and participate in the evaluation process
  • Assist Sales Reps with issue resolution
  • Act as a knowledge expert for their market

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in the Retail industry or other customer service environment
  • Prior supervisory and leadership experience required
  • Highly self motivated, independent, and able to quickly adapt to unique situations
  • Proven track record of problem solving and increasing efficiencies in a customer service environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills, with a proven track record of juggling priorities and successfully meeting multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) required
